From a typical wedding day we always aim to provide you with 300 to 500 exceptional photographs in your preview album. We often find that we take far more stunning photographs and present you with more that this.
Do you take formal photographs as well as reportage photographs?
Yes, Although the trend in recent years has been towards a more relaxed style of wedding photography, we value the importance that formal photographs will have in years to come, we like to limit your formal group shots to a maximum of 20 mins and work to your pre arranged list, this allows you and your guests to enjoy your day.
How do you choose where to photograph us on our wedding day?
Normally the bride and groom will have a list of locations where they would like their photographs taken, venues usually have the best locations mapped out. If possible a few weeks prior to the wedding we will visit the venue and plan on the possible locations for the relaxed posed shots and then your formal group shots.
On the morning of your wedding we re visit all of your wedding venues to check for possible locations, lighting and ideal spots for the best photographs and plan for that day’s weather forecast. This allows us to see your venue as it will be on your wedding day and not as it was months or weeks prior. This ensures that on your wedding day everything runs smoothly and everyone can enjoy the celebrations.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
The chances of it raining on your wedding day is not uncommon but if it does rain it won’t spoil your wedding day photographs. We always carry 4 big umbrellas 2 black and 2 white which look great in the rain so we can still venture outside, or make a dash for some of the more sheltered areas around the venue.
We usually find that most venues cater for rainy days by providing a room where formal images can be captured.
After the wedding, how do we get to see our photographs?
Normally within 3 weeks of your wedding day your wedding images and album design will be ready for you both to view and approve. You will receive all of your images on a DVD slideshow at this stage We will also give you the passwords for your online gallery.
